I am so sick of our crappy washing machine. I use eco washing liquid, which I know means that I am destined to occasionally struggle with stains and whitening whites (any eco tips for keeping clothes and bed linen looking nice are much appreciated), but our machine is really taking the laundry biscuit (yuck, doesn't sound tasty) at the moment.
Whites are coming out semi yellow, and stains are just remaining exactly where they are. I am blaming the machine because I am still using my faithful Lakeland stain remover, and even that isn't getting all the stains out.
Thing is, I don't want to spend a load of money on a new machine when we might move next year to a house with a newer machine, meaning we either have to sell or store a second machine. So it's just a case of pre-soaking anything remotely grubby, I suppose. Or perhaps gritting the teeth and investing in a bottle of killer-persil-daz-whitening-brightening-chemically goodness.
