Big news! Big news!

Not only did Teddy turn one on Thursday, but Adam proposed! Big week all round, really. (Obviously I said yes).

We had a party today, I was pretty darn proud of the cake I baked:

 I borrowed this book from the library, it has lots of good cakes in, none of them too complicated (there was a brief time when Teddy was in danger of having a rocket, tractor, teddy bear and dinosaur cake)

And the engagement. Very exciting, complete surprise. It would be a lie to say that the blogging opportunities presented by planning an eco-wedding did not occur to me fairly early on in proceedings.
