You know I said I had countless unfinished projects? This is the first of them. Theoretically it's a quilt made from scraps of fabric bought while travelling in Japan. In reality, as you can see, it's a bunch of scraps of fabric. I'm quite excited about it though.
I've finally picked it up again and while I can see millions of errors (with my fractionally more advanced quilting skills), I think I can still make a reasonable quilt out of it. I'm taking inspiration from this quilt sewn by knitting/quilting/rug making/all round crafty magician Kay from Mason Dixon Knitting.
I've got about 12 or 13 panels done. I need something in the region of 36 I think. Now that I've finally picked it up I'm barelling along nicely with it though, and finally have hope that it might one day be finished. Hopefully I'll get to move on to Teddy's baby book then, preferably before he moves out of home...
