I've revamped the packaging for my supplies store, and I'm really pleased with the results! I was really struggling to marry my ideals of packaging my goods in a gorgeous and secure way and environmentally friendly packaging.
The ribbon, I'm afraid, is not organic/recycled, but it is my one indulgence, and I always snap up vintage ribbon when I find it in my store colours (some of the pink in the above jumble is 1930s and cost me £1 for a 10m roll. Impressive, no?).
The end result, after a bit of research, is recycled paper pillow boxes and recycled tissue paper from the scarily efficient Tiny Box Company (delivered the day after ordering, well packaged, no complaints here!). The tissue paper matches my business cards beautifully, and the boxes mean I can finally sleep easy that my beautiful buttons will arrive intact at their destinations.
