I'm sort of part way through a few of the projects for this week, so I'm afraid that this isn't a very photogenic post (even compared to my usual less-than-perfect photography), but I thought I'd chart where I'm at nonetheless.
I'm loving the colours of the knitted pea coat - that blue is an awful lot paler and greyer in real life than it looks in the photo, more like this, but even paler:
The lady in the yarn store commented what a nice lilac it was when I bought it - I'm choosing to believe that she's completely colour blind. Either that or Teddy's got a slightly feminine jacket coming up. Ah well, I never liked gender stereotyping. Incidentally, the yarn is not the called for Debbie Bliss Rialto Aran, but the slightly cheaper Rowan pure wool Aran.
The fabric is all cut out for the dungarees, but I've realised that I've made a few of the seam allowances too small - not allowing for them to be tucked under where they'll be exposed. I'm thinking I'll go ahead anyway and just live with some raw edges. I'm treating the dungarees very much as a prototype as Teddy more or less lives in the couple of pairs he has, so I'd like to make more - maybe a fleece lines pair for winter! - once I've worked out the logistics of the process.
The pyjama top to match the trousers is in the pipeline too - I finally bought the lightweight interfacing I need (I hate interfacing with a passion, so this should be entertaining) and I'm hoping to get the fabric cut out tonight.
I love the blue and red! what a wonderful contrast and the jacket looks just perfect! Good luck with the trousers.

I can't wait to see the finished pea coat! Love the choice of color.
I have a weekly Thursday blog party especially for people to share things they've made to be worn. Stop by if you'd like!
