- Are all from the past week
- Didn't justify a post of their own (although some occasionally make their way into other posts...)
- Make me happy
An abandoned bucket made this trip to the beach particularly exciting (now the beach has been discovered, it's become a twice-weekly trip).
Vegetable thinnings that are actual food. Along with leaf beet and salad leaves, we're doing pretty well from the garden already.
The watering can has improved life dramatically for this fair and chubby boy in the heat of the past week. Mainly he waters himself.
Hexagons in the park while Teddy napped in the pram. I can stop any time I want, honest. But wouldn't it be great if my first hand pieced quilt was king size?
Listed this in the shop last week, but mainly I love the photo that my mother took to show off this candy coloured blanket.

These pictures is a regular Sunday feature with a few pictures from the week that never quite made it into their own blog post. Hope you enjoy it, and feel free to share your own These pictures moments too!
Keep going with the hexagons - you are really inspiring me. I am working on a hexagon quilt which I want to make King size for my bed for 2 reasons: 1. Its the first one I started (a year ago!) so I really want to keep it. 2. I can't imagine quilting and piecing by machine such a large quilt (though not sure I will be able to face so much hand quilting either!!!). Its more traditional grandmother garden design but all aqua and red tilda fabrics.

Your quilt sounds lovely! I know what you mean about doing a quilt by hand - I can imagine the cursing if I tried to manhandle a kingsize quilt around my poor machine.
